How about employees who are prescribed controlled medication? I was told I was disqualified from working with them because of a medication I am taking. I did some research on maritime laws are the laws are very grey/unclear. I've been told by an attorney that my case is not without merit. I am also protected by US governemnt under ADA. Do you have any information on individuals who are going through a similar problem that I am? I went through the whole 6 month grueling application process and in the end I was denied employment because of the medication I take - even though I passed medical! Please help me out

I was curios about gratuities for my upcoming cruise and found nothing on the MSC sight. So I appreciate this video, we always tipped over and above the standard gratuities so our budget just been adjusted.

Now they make sugar free packets of Margaritas and Pina Colada flavors you can just mix in your water and poor into your spirits over the rocks. At least here only $1 a box.

Here's the problem that I don't get. So all the points for onboard purchases go to the main card, which is my card. So as of now I'm at the upper end of gold status and my wife is still classic. So how am I supposed to use stuff like my one hour thermal spa session if my wife doesn't also get it.

Having done many cruises on Carnival, NCL, and MSC, I have to agree. MSC is amazing and I would honestly feel guilty going on another line now. I'm in the US so we're limited in the ships available here but I've done Armonia, Divina (twice), and Meraviglia and have Magnifica, Seashore, and Seascape planned!

Have you ever used MSC to arrange flights. We are in USA and want to try Lirica. we like smaller ships for mobility

I'm a first time cruiser (age 42) and my dad (age 75) and I are trying to choose between Royal Caribbean (Allure/Harmony/Oasis/Symphony) and Celebrity (Edge/Apex)on a 7 night cruise going out of Florida to celebrate his retirement. I agree 100%. I've been on several MSC ships and always found their food to be great. I will never, ever understand the food criticism. Here in the US, I believe a lot of folks think "Olive Garden" (a US Italian chain restaurant) when they think Italian food and that is not what "real" Italian/Mediterranean food is like.

The video could have been augmented with pictures of you wearing outfits on the cruises, and some of your fancy and fun shoes.

Just got off MSC and it was the worst food from my 20+ cruises. Cold food on the buffet with the same simple choices EVERY DAY for lunch and dinner. Went to the MDR like you enjoy after two days of horrible food and the service was so slow and the food was cold without flavor. Dinner was also very slow, NOT an "experience" more of a nightmare. Send it back? That would take another 45 minutes - are you kidding me? The servers could not care less about you and the worst MDR experience I have ever had. We changed to the for fee specialty dining and two of three were up to par with other cruise lines but we spent over $200 to get decent food. Will NEVER do MSC again.

Just discovered your channel and binge watched your Virtuosa vlogs. Absolutely loved them. I am due to sail on her in a few weeks in Yacht Club but as I’ve only sailed Cunard, I was feeling slightly apprehensive trying something new. However your vlogs have calmed any nerves. Thank you for such an extensive review you have been so helpful.

Sailed on both. Both fairy good. Celebrity has more service but air to NJ pricy. I did train. Their air not available lots Royal was out of local port 1 hr drive.

USB plugs under the bedside light! No need for extension leads

Royal Caribbean are the same. They give kettle when cruising out of UK, but not anywhere else. We sailed Independence of the Seas from Southampton to USA with a kettle, but same boat 5 months later out of Miami and no kettle. When asked they said they could not supply it.
